Rouge's story.

Rouge stepped off the airbus, rolling her eyes at how crowded public transport was these days. Not to matter... The female needed to get herself a ship. But first thing was first... She needed equipment. Given that today was tax free, Rouge decided to head to the bazaar were the clerks weren't as intelligent as they were in town centre... and thus were easier to persuade.

Once in the bazaar, it wouldn't take long for Rouge to find a stall selling light weapons. She was particularly interested in a pair of blast pistols, and she would look to the shop clerk, who didn't look overly bright.

"Hello there. I'm looking for a pair of blast pistols with the scope attatchment, the energy efficient upgrade. I'd also like a shock pistol, pyro pistol and boom shot please. And four pistol holders whilst you're at it... And since I'm buying so much, and it's new year... Can you maybe give me a discount?"

The man scratched his head a little.

"I can give you all that for 867... Seeing as how it is new year and all."

Rouge nodded and handed her credits over, taking her purchases and fastening them in place around her belt. Rouge then decided she needed some more money, so headed over to the casino.

Rouge headed into the casino, changing 100 of her credits into chips and heading over to a nearby poker table. There were already four players on it, which was one thing Rouge loved in poker... The more opponents you had, the more chance you had of winning... At least in her opinion, but then, she wasn't above playing dirty.

Rouge left the casino, her newly earned credits in hand. It was so easy to trick newbies into playing games they weren't good at, then reaping their credits for yourself... Now Rouge needed a ship, and as much as she wanted to buy an owl, even her persuasion coupled with her hard earned money wouldn't cover the costs of such a ship.

Rouge headed into the nearest ship merchant, finding the clerk and smiling to him.

"Hello sir. I was looking to buy a rhino, but was hoping you might do it for a little cheaper... Seeing as how it's the new year and all... And it will be my first ship."

The man smiled, seeming easilly charmed by the squib. "I guess I could give you one for 885."

The squib batted her lashes at this.

"But I only have 693... No chance you can do it a bit cheaper... For me?"

As if the persuasion wasn't enough, Rouge had now managed to melt the heart of the clerk.

"I guess I could give you a further twelve percent off... Seeing as how it's new year."

Rouge smiled to this.
"How about this... I'll give you all my money, and a happy new year kiss... If you give me that big pretty owl behind you?"

The clerk nodded stupidly. "Sure... Sounds like a fair trade."

Rouge nodded and swooned over to kiss the man on the cheek.

"Aww... You're so sweet. Here you go."

Rouge handed over her money and took the keys to her newly aquired owl.

Rouge got in her ship and took off. She wasn't going far in it however... Just to the city of Grendl. Utopia was far too law abiding for Rouge, and she knew Grendl was a little shadier than the capital. As Rouge landed, she would get out her ship, starting to take a look around town... She needed to get some money. Maybe she could find someone stupid to scam.

Rouge spent a few hours browsing town, finding no way to make free money. However, just as she was begining to give up the search, she spotted the nautolan from earlier heading into a weapons shop. He had proved guliable in the past... Maybe Rouge could track him and get some money out of him.

Rouge waited outside the weapons shop, until she was approached by a male human sporting an energy sword and an axe.
