The player waited for a moment, then through in 20 chips. Now Hunter had to either match the bid and end the bidding phase, exceed the bid and force the stakes higher, or fold and not risk any more chips.

Both hands were revealed, and it was shown that Hunter's pair was dwarved by the opponents full house, three tens and two queens. The victor took his money, but didn't leave the table. Seemed he wanted another game, as did the other two opponents who had folded early. But would Hunter hang around? Or would he try a different game?

Hunter stayed sat and waited to see what the opening bid would be, he was feeling a bit more confident now that he knew the rules a bit better.

The person to Hunter's right opened with ten chips, and the other two people matched it. Would Hunter? He only had ninety chips left after the last game.

The hand Hunter was dealt wasn't a friendly one.

The ace of hearts, six of hearts, jack of hearts, three of spades and five of clubs. Hunter may be able to go for a flush, but it was unlikely.

However, the whole table seemed to be having a bad day, as the bet was only put at five chips by the time it got to Hunter.

All of Hunters opponents took three cards, and Hunter was dealt a three and an ace. Hunter now had a pair of aces with a jack high to back it up. The person to Hunter's left bid ten credits, and the other two matched it. Would Hunter match, exceed or fold?

Hunter betted 20 credits. He felt slightly confident he had a winning hand but he didn't want to mess up.

The person to Hunter's left and right met the bet, but the winner of the last game folded. With all the bets in place, the hands were revealed. The opponents had a pair of nines and a pair of sevens... Not enough to beat Hunter's pair of aces, and Hunter took the jackpot. An amazing 140 chips came his way, but this was including the ones he had bid in the game. Hunter now had 210 chips all together. Would he keep playing?

As the game was about to start, a female squib came over, looking over the table.

"Is this poker? Oh! I've always wanted to learn how to play!"

The squib exclaimed, taking a seat to Hunter's right, but having a little trouble... She looked a bit drunk.

"You don't mind me joining do you guys? I brought money." The squib placed 100 chips on the table. "Just go easy on me... I aren't sure of the rules.

The men grinned... Looks like they had an easy wallet joining the table. The winner of the first game would throw in a bid of ten chips, which everyone else would meet, though the squib had some difficulty counting in her drunk state. Would Hunter match the bid?

Hunter was dealt a pair of queens with an ace high... A good starting hand, and he had a 2 and an 8 too.

The first person bet five credits, but this was raised to ten by the next person. The drunken squib threw in twenty credits, though she seemed a little to plastered to realise how much she had tossed in... In fact she didn't even count it. It was Hunter up next... Would he match the bid of twenty credits?

The first opposition changed two cards, the second changed three. The drunken squib took just one. Hunter was dealt a 3 of spades and a 5 of clubs. The final opponent took two cards, grinning as he got them. The two people who started off the bidding opened with a 20 credit bid.

It was now the squibs turn, and she leaned over to Hunter slightly, whispering. "Is it a good thing or a bad thing when I have four cards of the same number?" She giggled slightly, though had clearly spoken louder than she meant to, as the two people who had bid instantly folded.

The squib shrugged. "Oh who cares. It's just a bit of fun right? I'll put in twenty too." At this, the final opponent folded... It was just Hunter and the drunken squib now, who had already practically revealed her hand. As she waited for Hunter's bid, she rocked a little too much, falling off her chair and landing on the floor with a thud.

"I'm ok!" She called up, before giggling and clawing her way back onto her seat.

Hunter smiled and actually didn't believe the woman at all about her cards, even in a drunken state she wouldn't have revealed her hand like that, so he threw in 20 chips.

The squib chucked.

"Looks like someone knows their bluffing." She said, her voice now completely void of all drunken tone. "But I have some bad new for you... I may not have four of a kind, but I do have this..." The squib showed her hand, revealing two jacks, two tens and a queen.

Hunters hand was revealed... One pair in comparison to two... Hunter had lost. However, the squib chuckled. "You saw through my bluff though. You're either wiser than these other guys, or stupider... What say you we try our hand at a different game? One you might be good in if you can see through bluffs."

The squib nodded, getting up and motioning over to a table. The people there were playing Liars dice... A game that was meant to be played by the pro's. Still, games like this had a good pay out on them.

"Ok then, so whats the rules of this game, looks a little complicated, but I know bluffs have a large part in this"

The squib nodded.

"Each player gets five dice, and you have to roll them in your cup, keeping them concealed from your opponents. You then make bids using all the dice. So you might call four fives for example. Remember, all the dice in the game are used, not just your own. When it's your turn, you can increase the bid by calling a higher amount of the same number, like five fours could become six fours. Or you can increase the number bid. So five fours could become five fives. With me so far?"
